Yamaha to auction off Crutchlow leathers for Feed The Children Oklahoma Relief Fund

Tuesday, 4 June 2013

Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., is pleased to announce a unique opportunity to bid on a historic set of road racing leathers as worn by Monster Energy Tech 3 MotoGP™ star Cal Crutchlow. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Feed the Children Oklahoma Relief Fund. Feed the Children is Yamaha Motor Corporation's official corporate charity.
"Monster Energy/Tech 3 Yamaha’s Cal Crutchlow is a fan favorite here in the U.S., as well as around the world, and we’re so pleased that he has graciously donated his authentic Spidi custom-made leathers to help provide relief to victims of the terrible devastation that resulted from the tornadoes in Oklahoma," commented Bob Starr, General Manager of National Communications for Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A.
In addition to Cal’s leathers, the winning bidder will receive a pair of weekend 3-day general admission passes, including paddock access, to the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix, July 19-21 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, along with hotel accommodations in the Monterey area for the entire race weekend (Friday and Saturday night).
And, as an added bonus, the winning bidder will be invited up on stage Saturday evening during the scheduled, GE-sponsored concert ceremonies where Cal will present the personally autographed leathers to the lucky fan who wins the auction.
The auction is live on eBay beginning today and will continue through June 11.
