Twitter reacts to: Crutchlow's first win

The Twittersphere’s reactions to the number 35 taking a first British win in 35 years

It was a bit of a crazy day on Sunday at the Automotodrom Brno. Despite the absence of Lederhosen after the paddock left Austria, it was nevertheless still leathering it down. Rain all day? Check. The deck shuffled? Definitely check. And to top off all the drama of the day, it was Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda) who came through from fifteenth to cross the line for his first win – becoming the first British winner since Barry Sheene in 1981!
Twitter definitely had a few things to say about that – beginning with Jack Miller (Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS), who didn’t line up on the grid after a crash in Austria and watched the race as a fan. Don’t bother asking Jack for lottery numbers though, we already did.
BTW, there have now been 6 different MotoGP winners this year!
Congratulations across the two-wheeled spectrum flooded in yesterday…
Marquez definitely ‘won third place’ at CzechGP
Cal’s former teammate and all round MotoGP™ good guy was elated:
Speedy Reedy was expecting the ultimate Sheene homage!
…and here’s another British motorcycle racer who knows A LOT about winning!
It seemed the entire racing community put their hands together for Cal…
You know you did good when Mario Andretti pats you on the back.
This guy knows some stuff about winning, too:
As does one of Cal’s best friends and another blindingly fast Brit on two wheels:
Non-racing petrol heads & pretty massively famous fellas were watching the #CzechGP, too. Eric Bana wished he'd listened to #MysticMiller a little earlier...
*Insert witty Star Wars joke*
Last but not least, lead commentator for the MotoGP™ World Feed Nick Harris has seen it all now...
...and Derek Crutchlow is feeling the family pressure ahead of the #BritishGP, as his son comes home a winner!
See you at Silverstone!
